Mystic Springs Ranch has joined forces!
![]() 2008 was a year of change for Mystic Springs Ranch. Through a variety of personal changes, I have decided to take Mystic Springs Ranch in a slightly different direction. Due to the economic challenges, some farms have decided to "down size" while Mystic Springs Ranch has done the opposite. We are focusing on maintaining our herd and have even grown a little by way of joining forces. We see the alpaca future as bright and full of opportunities and by reorganizing the way we function on a daily basis as well as concentrating on high quality studs, top foundation females and unparallel customer service- we have been able to make some exciting changes.
As of March 1, 2009 Mystic Springs Ranch and MBZ Alpacas has combined locations. We are now both located at
3047 Grass Lake Road, Clintonville, WI 54929
Gordy Zachow, owner of MBZ Alpacas, graciously opened the doors of his brand new facility to Mystic Springs Ranch. Although new to alpacas, Gordy has what we all have had at one time or another- the desire for more alpacas! His farm, MBZ Alpacas, is named in loving memory of his wife Marlene Betty Zachow. My children and I feel honored to share this business with Gordy and we know that Marlene is watching every baby pronk and smiling as we help Gordy realize his dream of owning alpacas.
As we join forces with MBZ Alpacas we are all enjoying exactly what we need and want! With this state-of-the-art facility, Mystic Springs and MBZ is under one very efficient roof. Here is a list of just some of the "perks" our alpacas enjoy:
I'm very excited to be working with such a wonderful person and I hope to contribute some of my knowledge that the last 11 years in the alpaca business has taught me. We plan to host more seminars and classes as we get organized throughout the year so please check our calendar of events often.
We welcome visitors and are happy to answer your questions about the alpaca lifestyle so call or email and come out to visit us. We'll leave the light on...well actually Gordy leaves the night light on for the alpacas.
